Fashion Mingle Connects Designers to Mentors at Fashion Trade Shows

Fashion Mingle was excited to have booths at 2 trade shows this July. It was wonderful to be back in person, meeting our members, networking, and participating in events. We are grateful to Texworld and The Fabrics Show for inviting us this season to promote Fashion Mingle and our global platform for fashion industry professionals. As attendees and vendors came by our booths, we learned about their challenges and plans for growth, which allowed us to recommend Fashion Mingle members they should connect with and also give them advice from our years of experience in the industry.

The Fabrics Show features suppliers with USA domestic production

The New York Fabric Show was back on July 20 & 21. After a two-year hiatus due to Covid, the trade show was full of USA, Canadian, and European exhibitors offering low minimums, unique textile designs, in-stock programs, and more. The New York Fabric Show is known for having a sourcing trade show with one of the largest collections of American suppliers with Made In USA production.

Fashion Mingle attended as an exhibitor to introduce fashion professionals to the Fashion Mingle platform. We met with many designers and manufacturers who were eager to learn how we could help them find the resources they need to grow their business. It was an excellent opportunity to network and add new Fashion Mingle members to the platform with expertise in manufacturing and textile sourcing.

The Fabrics Show is a must-attend trade show for designers, manufacturers producing apparel, accessories, home furnishings, and other sewn products, plus private label retailers, fabric stores, and event and party planners will find a wide range of high quality fabrics, buttons, and trims.

Trade show exhibitors included some of the best wholesale suppliers, including mills, converters, importers, and distributors who have low minimums, many who have in-stock fabric and trims, and offer domestic small batch production.

The Fabrics Show is one of the best opportunities for brands and designers to lower their carbon footprint by keeping their sourcing and manufacturing in the USA. You can sign up on their website to keep up-to-date on the next show locations.
